About this gallery

At the sun sets each Friday people transform from workers into something different. This gallery is of those people, in black and white with a touch of colour, captured in the intervening hours from Friday sunset to sunrise on Monday when they return to their more mundane selves.

Most of these images were first published in one of my blogs and collected here for my personal enjoyment and to encourage me to keep going. It would be nice to one day have photographs of 100 weekend people.

The project started when I was invited to join a 100 strangers project but found myself both too busy being a worker and too shy to ask permission. So instead I settled for this form street photography, gathering images as I go about my travels.
